Detours are Often Just a Natural Route to Find Your Niche “Renee Cobb found the path to a successful career marked with several detours. But she didn’t see them as roadblocks; instead, she viewed them as opportunities for growth. Fifteen years ago she started a training and consulting company. Today, she is a nationally recognized speaker and trainer. She sees her career as an example to other women who are trying to take the best advantage of their opportunities. Cobb’s education was cut short when her father died and her mother became ill. Consequently, she worked as a private piano teacher and a model before settling into a full-time position as a drafter for AT&T. |
