The reasons for laughing are more numerous than researchers have been able to document. It is often overlooked as superficial, if not unnecessary. Insurance companies have begun to study those individuals on which they rarely or never pay benefits. A major characteristic of these people is their sense of humor which allows them to laugh…and often. They are sick less frequently and suffer less stress related disorders. Not only is laughter one of the greatest coping mechanisms available to each of us, it will even help establish a happier and more productive climate for working and living. This presentation "practices what it preaches." Participants leave this session having fulfilled their daily quota of belly laughs. |
